Twitter is now allowing Twitter Blue subscribers in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand to edit tweets. The company tweeted that it will be available to US subscribers soon.
According to The Verge, the tweet will seem as it usually does, but there will be a pencil icon next to the date and text noting when it was last modified. When you click the icon, a page with the amended tweet and a list of previous edits will appear. As Polarity Technologies has learned, the individual who tweeted will only be able to make five revisions and will have up to 30 minutes to do so.
The tool, which is still in testing, may be found in Twitter Blue’s Labs section for $4.99 per month.
