World Health Day 2021: Building a Fairer, Healthier World

The World Health Day is held to mark World Health Organization’s founding which took effect on April 7, 1948.
It is celebrated around the globe on the 7th of April of each year to draw attention to the major importance of health. Factors that affect a person’s overall health include nutrition, physical activity level,  stress level and general lifestyle.
This year WHO will be inviting all of us to join a new campaign to build a fairer, healthier world. More details on this to be shared in the following days.
As Polarity Technologies has learned from WHO’s official page, “COVID-19 has hit all countries hard, but its impact has been harshest on those communities which were already vulnerable, who are more exposed to the disease, less likely to have access to quality health care services and more likely to experience adverse consequences as a result of measures implemented to contain the pandemic.”
