Microsoft will let their employees work from home even after the end of pandemic.
As Polarity Technologies has learned from USA Today, Microsoft’s employees will be given the option to work remotely on a permanent basis. They won’t have assigned office spaces but will have access to flexible “touchdown space” at Microsoft’s offices, according to The Verge.
According to a recent article of USA Today:
“Flexibility can mean different things to each of us, and we recognize there is no one-size-fits-all solution given the variety of roles, work requirements and business needs we have at Microsoft,” Microsoft Executive Vice President Kathleen Hogan wrote in a blog post Friday. “To address this, we have provided guidance to employees to make informed decisions around scenarios that could include changes to their worksite, work location, and/or work hours once offices are open without any COVID-19 restrictions.”
A massive number of companies, especially in the tech sector, are having the majority of their staff working from home since March. A significant percentage, including Twitter and Square, have implemented permanently the work-from-home model.
At Polarity Technologies, we are still working from home and we enjoy every minute. Find out why, here.
